Beth Newman Mission StatementThe Merrill Memorial Library is a public library that makes available to all members of the community a broad range of materials, services and information. The mission of the library is to provide our patrons with educational, recreational and cultural enrichment and opportunities for independent learning and for personal and professional growth. The library trustees and staff will support this mission by providing an environment that is welcoming, stimulating, respectful and supportive. DonationsBOOKS: With many thanks, MML accepts donations of hardcover best-seller books in good condition. We do not hold an annual book sale, so typically we cannot accept any other types of books. AUDIO BOOKS: With many thanks, MML accepts donations of audio books on CD that are in good condition. We are currently reducing our number of books on cassette tape and can no longer accept these as donations. MOVIES: With many thanks, MML accepts donations of DVDs that are in good condition. We are currently reducing our number of VHS movies and can no longer accept these as donations. FUNDS: With great appreciation, MML accepts monetary donations. These may be made in person or mailed to the library at 215 Main Street, Yarmouth ME 04096. MML is a non-profit institution and will acknowledge your tax-deductible contribution in writing. Many ThanksMML would like to thank the following organizations: JTG Foundation for a generous grant enabling us to update and expand our health collection and include books on Living and Aging Well. Yarmouth Arts for a generous grant enabling us to update and expand our Art and Architecture Collection and include books on Asian and Islamic art. Davis Family Foundation and the Margaret E. Burnham Charitable Trust for their generous grants allowing us to establish our new web site.
